I design and make handmade silver jewellery with vitreous enamel. I am also a keen crafter, baker, and my ‘day job’ is as a musician in the British Army. Currently serving with the Band of the Household Cavalry – I play the oboe (and the clarinet when we are riding our horses)

good morning, I’m a father of a youg Italian oboist. My daughter, 13 years old, is going to attend a very important oboe school in Florence and I would like to present her a very special lucky charm. What batter than a little reed jewel handmade from another oboist as you? could you help me in this little but very special project? Thanks so much.

Good morning Alain. Wow that sounds like a great opportunity for your daughter. I think I still have a couple of the oboe reeds left but I will need to finish them off as they aren’t ready to go yet.
